There are three pilots planned in Greece during a 12 months period, the initial phase of which was concluded in December 2007. Selected users were requested to test and trial the SEMOPS internet payment solution by performing payment transactions at a specially designed internet betting shop. After the trial period the participants were requested to fill in an online survey which was evaluated by usability experts. Based on the combined methodology of SUMI (Software Usability Measurement Inventory) and TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) the trial participants had a very positive impression of SEMOPS, with SEMOPS scoring 4,2 on a 1-5 scale when test users were asked about their intention of using SEMOPS if the service is commercially available.
The pilots will be continued with mobile and POS transactions potentially also using contactless technology. |
